You might have read before that nuts are good for your heart because they contains good fats and protein that you should get more. Beside that, they also have other benefits as well. Every nuts has its own special virtues. But one thing that you must remember from nuts is they are high in calories.

1. Cashews
If you don’t like spinach, get iron by eating this nuts. It gives you nearly 10% of your daily needs of iron. They also rich in folate and vitamin K, both will keeps your bones strong and and prevent blood clotting.

2. Walnuts
Walnuts, as well as other nuts, rich in protein, fiber, and magnesium. They are special between other nuts because the high level of alpha-linolenic acid content. Alpha-linolenic acid is a type of omega-3 fatty acids that can boost your brain.

3. Almonds
Almonds can do more than just lowering your cholesterol. They have more fiber and calcium also lower calories than any other nuts in this list. They also excellent source of vitamin E.

4. Macadamia nuts
This nuts has the highest monounsaturated fat than any other nuts. They also packed with thiamine, that can helps your nervous system.

5. Pistachios
Pistachios have fewer calories and rich in lutein that important for your vision and skin. One serving of pistachios gives you almost as much potassium as a small banana.

6. Brazil nuts
This nuts are a good source of selenium, which important for thyroid health. One nut contains more than your daily needs of selenium. But beware as too much selenium can increase your cholesterol level, so eat selenium occasionally.

7. Pecans
They are rich in beta-sitosterol which can helps to lower cholesterol and contribute to prostate health.

8. Pine nuts
They contains manganese, which helps to maintain sugar level and metabolize carbohydrates and protein.
