1. Leafy greens
This list include lettuce, escarole, endive, spinach, cabbage, kale, arugula, and chard. This food can be contaminated by manure, dirty water rinses, or unwashed hands before you even buy them. To prevent sickness, wash the vegetables and prevent cross-contamination by washing hands and using separate cutting boards for meat and greens.
Sickness from egg caused by Salmonella bacteria. To prevent from getting sick you must cook them before eating and avoid any products containing raw eggs.
Tuna that contaminated by scombrotoxin caused flushing, headache, and cramps. The toxin is released by fish when it is stored above 60 degrees after being caught, and the toxin can’t be destroyed by cooking.
In the ocean, oysters only do the filter feeding, and if the water is contaminated the oysters is contaminated too. Oysters still contains norovirus and bacteria that can cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea if they are served raw or undercooked.

7. Ice cream
Ice cream can cause sickness if it’s contaminated by bacteria such as Salmonella and Staphylococcus. And mostly because it is using raw eggs that contained Salmonella.
Before you prepare any fresh produce, wash your hands with warm water and soap for about 20 seconds, wash fruits and veggies under running water before eating, cutting, or cooking. And keep fruits and veggies away from other foods like meats.
